Accelerators outside the US: where each program on our list runs, region by region
Accelerators in Europe, the UK, India, Southeast Asia, Latin America, Australia and Canada: where each one runs and who it takes, from its own pages.
By Venture ListPublished Updated Links checked September 2026How we check
Yes, there are plenty of accelerators outside the US. On our list, 8 programs name the UK among their locations, 5 of them London, and more run in Germany, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Estonia and Switzerland. Beyond Europe: Accel Atoms for founders in India, Iterative for Southeast Asia, Parallel18 in Puerto Rico, Impacta VC in Chile and Uruguay, the EU-LAC Digital Accelerator across Europe and Latin America, Startmate and Stone & Chalk in Australia, and Forum Ventures with an office in Toronto. A handful of networks, Antler, Google for Startups, Plug and Play, Founder Institute and gener8tor among them, run local programs in many countries.
This page sorts those programs by region, using the location each one gives on its own pages, as we read them on 2 October 2026. It quotes the programs no regional guide covers yet and names the rest with a link. Their terms, where you'd work and who they accept are in the regional guides: Europe, the UK, India and Southeast Asia and Latin America.
The programs below are the ones whose own pages put them, at least in part, outside the US.
01The short answer, by region
- Europe and the UK: London has Seedcamp, Techstars London, Founders Factory and Entrepreneur First; the rest are in Paris, the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Estonia and Switzerland.
- India and Southeast Asia: Accel Atoms and Iterative, plus Bangalore offices of Entrepreneur First and South Park Commons.
- Latin America and the Caribbean: Parallel18, Impacta VC and the EU-LAC Digital Accelerator, plus Rockstart in Bogotá and Wayra in Brazil.
- Australia and New Zealand: Startmate and Stone & Chalk, plus a Founders Factory program in Perth.
- Canada and Israel: Forum Ventures in Toronto, and a MassChallenge hub in Jerusalem.
- Many countries at once: Antler, Google for Startups, Plug and Play, Founder Institute, gener8tor and Techstars.
02Europe and the UK
5 programs on the list give London as a base: Seedcamp, the Techstars London Accelerator, Founders Factory, Entrepreneur First and a hub of MassChallenge all work from there.
- Paris: the STATION F Founders Program.
- The Netherlands: Startupbootcamp in Amsterdam, YES!Delft in Delft, and Rockstart, based in Amsterdam, Copenhagen and Bogotá.
- Germany: the UnternehmerTUM Accelerator in Garching, and the EWOR Fellowship, remote and run from Berlin.
- Spain: Lanzadera in Valencia, and Wayra, which works mainly in Spain, Germany, the UK and Brazil.
- Estonia: Startup Wise Guys, mostly online, with time in Tallinn.
- Switzerland: MassChallenge's hub in Renens.
- Across the UK and Europe: Conception X's Venture Scientist 100, for PhDs.

What each European program says about where you work, what it invests and who can apply is in our guides to accelerators in Europe and in the UK. Several of them mix online and in-person time; the ones that say so, in their own words, are in remote accelerators. Entrepreneur First and Antler, side by side, are in Antler vs Entrepreneur First.
03India and Southeast Asia
- Accel Atoms backs founders in India and Indian-origin founders anywhere.
- Iterative: startups based in Southeast Asia, or mostly selling there.
- Entrepreneur First has an office in Bangalore.
- So does the South Park Commons Founder Fellowship.
- Antler's locations include India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam.

04Latin America and the Caribbean
- Parallel18 runs its 16-week program in Puerto Rico.
- Impacta VC, an impact fund, has offices in Santiago and Montevideo.
- EU-LAC Digital Accelerator: startups and corporates applying in pairs.
- Rockstart has an office in Bogotá.
- Wayra counts Brazil among its main markets.
Whether Parallel18 is "outside the US" depends on what you need from that phrase. Puerto Rico is a US insular area, by the US Department of the Interior's page on Puerto Rico (opens in a new tab), read on 2 October 2026 and quoted in accelerators in Latin America. Parallel18 asks for incorporation in Puerto Rico or the US; its own words are in accelerators for international founders.

05Australia and New Zealand
Startmate is the program on our list built for the region. Its accelerator page, read on 2 October 2026, says where the next one runs: "14 weeks, Feb 1 to May 7, 2027. Remote-first, with three weeks together in person and our Melbourne and Sydney offices open to co-work from." The same page says who it wants: "If you have a strong connection to Australia or New Zealand, we'd love to hear from you."
So the line asks for a connection, not an address, and three weeks is the in-person part. What counts as a strong connection is Startmate's call; the page doesn't define it. Its deal, a fixed stake in Australian dollars with no program fee, is quoted in how much equity accelerators take, and its deadline is in the Next deadlines strip in room 03. Startmate on the list.
Stone & Chalk is a different kind of place: an incubator you join as a member.
A085Stone & ChalkKind
“A resident membership provides you and your team access to our flexi desks, shared with other flexible members.”
Our reading: incubator
Its membership page (opens in a new tab), read on 2 October 2026, says where: "At Stone & Chalk, we offer flexible, world-class workspaces across four premier hubs in Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide." The membership is paid, from a flexible desk up to a private office, and the same page adds: "You also get exclusive access to Stone & Chalk Growth programs to help accelerate your startup." It states no prices and no investment, so read it as a desk with programs attached, not a funding round. Stone & Chalk on the list.
Two more programs reach the region. Founders Factory lists a program marked "Perth & Remote", and Antler lists Australia among its locations. For New Zealand, Startmate's line is the only one we hold that names it.

06Canada, Israel and Africa
- Canada: Forum Ventures has a Toronto office and works remotely too. Antler lists Canada as well.
- Israel: MassChallenge runs a hybrid hub in Jerusalem.
- Africa and the Middle East: Antler's locations include Kenya, Nigeria and MENAP. Google for Startups has an accelerator region for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Forum Ventures' terms are quoted in the equity guide. MassChallenge's own words on its hubs are in remote accelerators.
07Networks with programs in many countries
Some names on the list are networks: one brand, many local programs. With a network, the program you actually join is local, and so are its terms, dates and people. Antler is the clearest case: its terms differ by country (Antler vs Entrepreneur First). Read the page for your city, not the global home page.
Plug and Play. Its locations page (opens in a new tab), read on 2 October 2026: "We work as a bridge between Silicon Valley and 60+ locations around the world, making innovation open to anyone, anywhere." Plug and Play on the list.
gener8tor. Its locations page (opens in a new tab), read the same day: "Across the world, we run accelerators to catalyze community, mentorship, network, conviction, and capital to bridge an ecosystem's genius with opportunity." The page counts "50+ Communities", in the US and abroad. gener8tor on the list.
Founder Institute. Its home page (opens in a new tab), read on 2 October 2026: "It runs in 200+ cities; apply to the chapter nearest you or to an online cohort." The entrance fee is set per chapter (the equity guide quotes one). Founder Institute on the list.
Google for Startups runs its accelerators by region (remote accelerators). Techstars' Asia-Pacific programs use a smaller SAFE than its standard deal (the equity guide). Pages on the list: Google for Startups, Techstars, Antler.

| AntlerA001 · VC program · Sep 2026 | $500K–$1M |
| Google for StartupsA028 · accelerator · Sep 2026 | No equity |

08Who can apply: a tie to the region
Regional programs draw the line in different places: where you live, where you come from, where you sell, or where your company is registered. The rules we hold, in short (each is quoted in full in its regional guide or above):
- Accel Atoms: based in India, or of Indian origin and based anywhere.
- Iterative: based in Southeast Asia, or most customers there.
- Startmate: a strong connection to Australia or New Zealand.
- Parallel18: a company incorporated in Puerto Rico or the US.
- EU-LAC Digital Accelerator: a startup and a corporate apply together.
So a founder living in Europe can fit Accel Atoms, and one living anywhere can fit Iterative if most customers are in Southeast Asia. If no regional rule fits you, the networks above and the remote programs are the usual route.
09Joining a US program from outside the US
Many US programs run in person. SOSV says it probably won't invest if you can't come. Others are built to be joined from where you are: Techstars Anywhere, Village Capital, Dreamit and TinySeed describe their programs as run online, each in its own words in remote accelerators. What US programs say about founders from abroad, visas and relocation is in US accelerators for international founders.
10Before you apply from outside the US
- Which program, exactly. A network's terms are set per city or country. Find the local page and read that one.
- Which currency. Terms come in the program's own currency: Startmate's in Australian dollars, Wayra's and Startup Wise Guys' in euros, Founders Factory's in pounds, Accel Atoms' and Iterative's in US dollars. Convert on the same day before you compare.
- Where your company is registered. Parallel18 asks for a Puerto Rico or US company. Ask any program which entity it invests in, and whether you'd need a new one.
- How much time in person, and where. From three weeks together at Startmate to the team leader's 16 weeks in Puerto Rico at Parallel18. Budget for the travel.
- Which time zone. Sessions follow the host's hours. Techstars Anywhere is built for American time zones.
- When. Deadlines change every batch. The live dates are in the Next deadlines strip in room 03.

11How we checked
Every location on this page comes from the program's own pages, as we read them on 2 October 2026; the terms and other facts linked from here were read between 29 September and 2 October 2026. A program is on this page when its own page puts it, at least in part, outside the US. Programs that are online for everyone, such as the cloud-credit programs, are left out: they aren't tied to a place. Puerto Rico's status is from the US Department of the Interior's page, read on 2 October 2026. What we did: we read each program's own pages and checked its link; each table row and poster shows the date of our last link check. Locations change between batches, so read the program's current page before you plan a move.
Nobody pays to be listed or to appear in a guide. Read how we check for the details.
12Questions
Are there good startup accelerators outside the US?

Which accelerators are in India and Southeast Asia?
On our list, Accel Atoms backs founders in India and Indian-origin founders anywhere, and Iterative backs startups based in or selling mostly to Southeast Asia. Entrepreneur First and the South Park Commons Founder Fellowship have Bangalore offices, and Antler runs programs in several Asian countries. See accelerators in India and Southeast Asia.
Are there accelerators in Latin America?
A few on our list: Parallel18 in Puerto Rico, Impacta VC in Santiago and Montevideo, and the EU-LAC Digital Accelerator, which pairs startups with corporates across Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean. Rockstart has a Bogotá office and Wayra works in Brazil. See accelerators in Latin America.
Is there an accelerator for Australian and New Zealand founders?
