What is Venture List?

An independent, free list of 318 places to launch a startup: directories, launch platforms, review sites, communities and accelerators. Every place shows the date we last checked its link. About the project.

How do you check the list?

We check every link: that the domain still works, where it redirects, and whether it was parked, sold or taken over by spam. A place is hidden after 3 failed checks in a row, or at once if its link shows spam, and every change goes into the changelog. Read how we check.

How many launch sites still work?

Of the 375 launch links on our list and our research list, 20 (5%) no longer worked when we checked them between 29 September 2026 and 1 October 2026: 15 were dead, 3 showed spam and 2 were parked. The details are in the 2026 link check, with the list of removed places and the data as a CSV file.

Where do the facts on a poster come from?

From each site's own pages. Every fact, like the cost or the approval time, links to the page we read it on, with the exact quote. If we have not checked a fact, it is not shown.

What does it cost?

Nothing. Without an account you see the first places of each room. A free account opens the rest: every place with its full caption, the Excel file and your launch plan. There is no password (we email you a sign-in link) and nothing to pay.

No. Nobody pays to be listed, and the order is our own. Read how we make money.
